Story & characters
Dylan's backstory is woven into Act 1 instead of a static bio screen — it shifts based on your choices and how you define Sophia
Sophia and Ellie relationship labels (landlady, roommate, etc.) now affect dialogue, bios, and codex entries properly
Dialogue polish and typo fixes across the whole game so far
Characters show more emotion in portraits instead of defaulting to neutral looks
Presentation
Chapter title cards got a Tarantino-style makeover — bold act/scene titles, time/place stamps, and a beat to soak them in before continuing
Choice menus restyled to match the game's look
Side portraits for Dylan and Sophia (and broader cast color-coding) so speakers are easier to read at a glance
Trust-fail and chapter-end moments use animated scenes instead of static images
Several key scenes now use looping video instead of still images (motel, dream, gym, doc, hack victory, etc.)
New background music plays through the Prologue and Act 1
Structure
The final act's long Scene 4 was split into three focused scenes (Bobby/Melissa, Bobby/Monica, Dylan/Ellie) so the ending paces better
Acts are renumbered for clarity: after the Prologue, what was Act 2 is now Act 1, through to Act 6 at the end — saves and replays still work
Quality of life
In-game Options menu matches the new main menu look
Closing the game no longer asks "Are you sure?"
Story mode no longer gets stuck if relationship editing is locked
