- New video scene: the Suspicious Collector (skip the rent and he comes knocking; once seen, it unlocks in the gallery under Monsgrad, "Debt to the collector")
How to see it in the game:
1. Talk to all three informants in Monsgrad (the blacksmith Michael, the farmer Jord and sister Claudia). The last one sends you to Tirk at the Sweet Foam tavern.
2. Rent the room from Tirk: 200 gold, charged every 2 in-game days.
3. When the rent comes due and you have less than 200 gold, you are not evicted. You get a debt instead and the collector starts waiting for you. If you find the gold before he catches you, the debt is paid automatically.
4. First meeting: walk out of your room, he waits at the door. Choose "Pay later (2 more tries)" or "Hear the offer".
5. Second meeting at the door of your room: "Pay later (1 more try)" or "Hear the other offer". After "Pay later" he will not show up again for about a minute of play.
6. "Hear the offer" starts the video scene (it can be skipped). Afterwards the debt is cleared, the rent timer restarts, and your Lust and Corruption stats go up.
7. If you refuse twice, the third meeting has no choice: the collector takes your key, the room is lost, and Tirk will rent it to you again.
Tip: to trigger the debt on purpose, spend your gold below 200 before the rent day, then wait until the rent is due.
Combat and weapons
- Three weapon slots on keys 1 / 2 / 3 and the mouse wheel: sword, bow, knife. Press the key again to put the weapon away
- The weapon floats beside Athena, with swing, thrust and bow-draw animations, glowing trails and five new pixel-art swords
- Bandits, goblins and the goblin queen now have voices; coins jingle and clothes rustle in the menu
- Bandits hit 20% softer; new upgrade stat Accuracy (up to 90%) makes your blade miss less

- Smooth 8-frame walking and running for all outfits (plus Ben, goblins and bandits), refreshed naked-outfit animation, dash smoke trail
- HUD portrait reacts: furious when she hits hard, wincing when hurt, happy when healed
- Living world: rain and thunderstorms, fireflies, drifting leaves, dust and snow; a fountain (try a coin at night) and a church bell at dawn in Monsgrad
- 105 places to gather herbs, berries, sticks and ore, and lots of new music

The New City, and the story continues
It's been a while since the last big devlog — here's everything that's piled up.
Chapter 2: The New City
- A whole new area of the map is open — the New City, with a blacksmith, a temple, shops, a farm, and a tavern.
- A new story thread: making your way through the forest and getting past the guards at the city gate.
- A new investigation quest: three separate leads about the Lord (the blacksmith, the farmer, the nun) all come together in one report to the guard captain.
- A side job for the farmer — help him out with milk in exchange for a reward.
- You can now rent a room at the tavern for a couple of in-game days.
- A new intimate scene — you can pay the guard captain "another way" instead of gold to get the information you need.

Mechanics & UI
- Bow: auto-aim on the nearest enemy, higher base damage, a stronger aimed shot.
- A new camera zoom slider in Settings.
- The "Athena" screen has been reworked — equipment, leveling, and skills now all live in one place.
- The inventory has been redesigned: a categorized list instead of a small grid, with mouse-click support.
- Fixed tab-click bugs across every menu screen.
- Fixed text overflowing description windows (items, skills, quests) throughout the game.
- Added GPS-style tracker arrows to older quest chains that were missing them.
- Lots of smaller bugfixes: broken doors, gold economy bugs, a quest journal crash, and more.

### What's new specifically in 0.1.7a
- Added a new quest continuing the city storyline.
- Fixed several texture/collision bugs.
- This update is available on all platforms: Windows, macOS, and Linux.

Demo v0.1.2

A smaller patch focused on stability and a couple of quality-of-life fixes based on player reports. Thanks to everyone who took the time to report bugs — it genuinely helps.

Fixes:
- Fixed a bug where rebinding controls in the settings menu could freeze the game.
- Fixed a bug that could leave you stuck in the scenery after completing the farm mission.
- Fixed a freeze that could occur when approaching the man standing in town.
- Fixed an issue where you weren't able to talk to the bartender.
- Fixed the gold display window showing up in the wrong place.

New:
- Added the ability to change your movement key layout (WASD / ZQSD / Arrow Keys) from the control settings, for players on non-QWERTY keyboards or who prefer arrow keys.
